RTSync is leading a team in the development of NetCentric Test Agent Capability

RTSync is leading a team in the development of NetCentric Test Agent Capability (NTAC), a software architecture that is intended to automate many of the functions that are difficult and costly to perform in realistic operational testing. NTAC will enable operational testers to:

- Generate SOA test agents automatically

- Deploy these agents to monitor traffic over the Global Information Grid (GIG)

- Configure agents to measure operational mission success

Based on the DEVS/SOA infrastructure, NTAC will integrate advanced modeling and simulation concepts within state-of-the-art web-service technologies to:

- Coordinate and exchange information among agents,

- Provide real-time response to queries for test results

- Implement mission threads using live and virtual users

- Evaluate timing, semantics, and success of information exchanges

Funded by the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) as a Resource Enhancement Project (REP) with participation by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), the initial implementation, known as Agent-based Test Instrumentation Infrastructure (ATII), focuses on Mission Thread Testing.

As it is being developed, NTAC is being integrated into the JITC enterprise test architecture, following in the footsteps of previously developed Automated Test Generator (ATCGen) technology for testing of advanced tactical data exchange standards.
