ATCGen (Automated Test Case Generation) is an M&S-based methodology and software toolset being developed to modernize and automate the standards conformance testing required in systems acquisition. The approach goes beyond current software testing practices in that it rests upon and exploits dynamic systems theory and the M&S framework based on the DEVS formalism. DEVS serves as the basic medium for formalization of standards, analysis of the resulting models, automation of the test cases, and execution of the test drivers. With the ACIMS members of original DEVS expertise as staff , RTSync is the sole provider of core technology in ATCGen in the US and the world. Enclosed is the description of the ATCGen.
